I didn’t start with a big team, a huge following, or a perfectly mapped-out plan. I started with a passion for makeup and my first job on the MAC counter — completely falling in love with the craft and the confidence it could give people. That passion led me to invest in my education, gain professional qualifications, and push myself into opportunities that would shape my career. I worked on TV sets, including productions like Downton Abbey, gaining experience in high-pressure environments and learning how important technique, precision, and professionalism really are. But while I was gaining experience, I was also slowly building something of my own. I started taking clients on weekends from a small home studio, growing my bridal bookings one client at a time. Eventually, that turned into renting space within a salon, building a team, and expanding my services. Over time, the business grew beyond what I ever imagined. I opened my own three-floor premises for clients, training, and beauty services, launched my own cosmetics brand starting with 25 brushes, and continued educating artists who wanted to build their own careers in the industry. Today, after more than 12 years in makeup, I’ve built a fully booked bridal business, multiple income streams within the beauty industry, and a reputation as an artist, educator, and business owner. But I know how overwhelming the beginning can feel. Feeling like the market is saturated. Struggling to get consistent bookings. Questioning whether you’re “good enough” yet. That’s exactly why I created The Signature Makeup Series My goal is to help talented artists stop guessing, stop feeling stuck, and start building real confidence in their skills — using the exact techniques, experience, and lessons that helped me build my career. No gatekeeping. No fluff. Just real techniques, real industry insight, and the knowledge I wish someone had shared with me when I was starting out.
